What is the Ministry of Children in La Iglesia Bloomington-Normal - Familia Cristiana?
Children are gifts from God, a present blessing and our future hope, they deserve the same quality of Ministry and resources we offer to adults. We believe to bore a child in the church is a grave error. We want children to have fun while learning. Learn to love God and to love the church.
So we created a fun and exciting environment where every child can experience the love and power of God.
We serve children ages three (3) to twelve (12) years and met during the Sunday service at the same time as adults.
Our Mission
Sowing the love of God in the hearts of children so that they can know Jesus Christ, to become like Him.
Cell Groups
Prayer Ministry
La Iglesia
Bloomington-Normal - Familia Cristiana meet in Cell Groups (Adults that gather together). Cell Groups will provide the individualized pastoral care you need and fellowship with people who want to serve God with sincerity. In a cell group we worship God, learn the Word and pray for your needs and those of others in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

Bloomington-Normal - Familia Cristiana believes that God can bless us in supernatural ways. God can and will intervene in all the affairs of our life to give direction and bless us in any way we need. He is the God of our lives and the God of history. So in La Iglesia we pray for your needs. We want to experience his guidance, healing and strength for you. Let us know your concerns, needs and how we can pray for you and your family.
Compassion Ministry
What is the Ministry of Compassion?
The Ministry of Compassion in La Iglesia Bloomington-Normal - Familia Cristiana is is an instrument of God to demonstrate God's love to the poor, needy, wounded, abused and less fortunate around us. We believe in opening our arms and give all the fruits that the Lord has supplied us, whether material, spiritual or emotional.
La Iglesia believes that God has commanded us to be instruments of liberation and help the poor, needy, wounded, abused and neglected in our community. We are eager to help the less fortunate in every opportunity presented to us by providing our time, talents and resources. We want God to use La Iglesia Bloomington-Normal - Familia Cristiana to reach our community (Luke 4: 18-19; Romans 15: 25-26; Galatians 2:10).
Our Vision
Be instruments of God in practical ways to help the poor, needy and abused in our society to show them God's love. We want to plant the seed of love from God in people who usually think they are not important to God (Ephesians 2:10).
